Event Details
The AEC (Approved Engine Course) is a 35 hour MCA approved training course run over 5 days. It is of interest to students who want to have a wider appreciation of basic marine diesel mechanics and electrics, with an understanding of the chief engineer’s responsibilities. The AEC is the first step for anyone wanting to pursue an engineering career for those with no formal marine engineering qualifications, or for boat owners or skippers who wish to deepen their engineering skills.
