Event Details
This is an advanced course in navigation & meteorology for candidates for the Yachtmaster Coastal & Offshore Certificate. Our instructors will take their time with you teaching you chart plotting, course to steer and secondary ports, as well as tidal calculations, weather systems and collision regulations. The course is taught over 40 hours with three exam papers.

Pre-course experience / requirements
A previous knowledge of the rules of the road, col regs, vessel sounds, lights and shapes, and buoyage systems is advised. There are various aps to download to your phones/tablets or the RYA flash cards are readily available to buy at the school. You must know your basics before you attempt this course.
